Jonathan Murillo Chaves is a Costa Rican and Community Member from Bijagua at the Tenorio-Miravalles Biological Corridor in Northwestern Costa Rica. He has participated in tapir related activities since the past 3 years including tapir monitoring and tracking, assisting during tapir captures, also deploying camera traps, and has collaborated with managing farmer-tapir conflicts.
Since a child, he has been a pationate for wildlife conservation and nature protection in his home town, in which he is a local/natural leader and enthusiast promoting tapir conservation in Bijagua. He and his wife -Dixia- are the owners of the best coffee shop at Bijagua Café Semillas.
